Kitchenette. Laundry facilities.
Rooms were a bit dingy. Wouldn't have mattered if the weather had been good, but rain increased several hours after we arrived, and visibility was nil. We'd hiked to Franz Josef Glacier while it was still clear enough to see up the valley, but our plans for longer hikes with views of the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers were squashed. We left the area a day early rather than spend it reading in the dreary room (there's nothing to do in Franz Josef Village if you can't be outdoors and you don't like shopping). Room would have been better if they had higher-wattage lightbulbs and bedside lamps. The weather wasn't the staff's fault, and our stay would have excellent if we'd been able to be out of the room.

Great two-night stay! the staff here were super professional and went out of their way to help us out. the location was spot on, so close to the Glacier Hot Pools. Plenty of restaurants and shops around here. 🌟
